I acknowledge that Boston Borough Council has to follow the diktats of unelected quangos and other authorities, nevertheless the funding for the waterways link, the PRSA and the

The funding all ultimately comes from tax, council tax and levies paid by businesses and individuals.

I am sure the Boston payers would rather see for their money, the Market Place as it is, with the car parking, a bypass and the council's 450,000 being spent on retaining the swimming facilities

Any commercial organisation would have identified the priorities and directed funds in that direction.
