Blaze rips through house in Freiston

A house in Freiston has been destroyed by flames following a blaze at the property overnight.

The entire house, on Shore Road in the village, was hit by the fire, which led to one person being taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation.

Four fire crews, from Boston, Leverton and Kirton tackled the blaze after receiving a call out at 12.15am today (Wednesday).

A spokesman for the fire service said the cause of the fire was not yet known.
