Borough builds for success
Wednesday 3pm - ARCHITECTS and builders have been recognised at an awards evening.
The first Boston Borough Council Building Excellence awards, recognising the best local design and construction in 2009 have been hailed a huge success.
It was sponsored by Jackson Building Centres.
Organised by the council's building control team, the awards recognised designers and builders who produce safe, energy efficient and accessible buildings.
Awards also went to local businesses, organisations, community groups and individuals who have gone the extra mile to ensure consideration is given to people with disabilities.
An awards ceremony was held at the town's Guildhall.
They were presented by Simon Sandland-Taylor, the council's head of regulatory services.
