Boston man dies on building site

Tuesday, 3.30pm - A MAN from Boston has died after an accident on a building site.

Justin Gillman, 26, from Holland Fen, was working on the site when the incident occurred.

Police say initial investgations would suggest he fell from scaffolding before bricks fell on top of him.

The spokesman added Mr Gillman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident happened on Friday at around 12.40pm on the Chestnut Homes building site in Warth Lane, Skegness.

An inquest into Mr Gillman's death was opened by coroner Stuart Fisher on Monday, but was adjourned for a later date.

The Health and Safety Executive has confirmed it is looking into the incident. A spokesman said there was nothing more they could say at this time.
