Members of Boston’s Walking the Way to Health groups travelled to Grimsthorpe Castle to take part in a 10k walk to raise funds for Marie Curie nurses.
Transport was sponsored by Kings of Stickney who took 30 members to attend the evening earlier this month.
Twenty seven members completed the course and three members volunteered their time in the registration tent and on the ‘In Memory’ stand.
After the walk, entertainment was enjoyed by all while having a picnic and the evening ended with a firework display. It is hoped that the total amount raised from the evening will be in excess of £23,000.
