A business in New York has been targeted by thieves twice in three days this week.

A police spokesman said offenders entered the yard at the premises in Mill Lane some time between 6.30pm on Sunday and 9am the following morning. A number of sheds were entered and fuel pumps, radiators, and other vehicle parts stolen from cars inside.

They said the second incident happened between 8.30pm on Wednesday and 6am the following morning. The offenders forced entry to a workshop and stole an orange Stihl leaf blower, a red Stihl chainsaw and approx 150 litres of diesel from a tank.

It is believed they drove across a neighbouring field to access the premises.
