Coroner records verdict of accidental death over popular Boston businessman

A coroner has recorded a verdict of accidental death in the inquest of a popular business man who died while on holiday abroad.

Garth Isaac, 75, died at San Hose Hospital on February 28, following an accident on February 25 while in Lisbon.

On Thursday, August 18, South Lincolnshire Coronor Paul Cooper ruled that Mr Isaac’s death was an ‘accident’ following an inquest at Boston Coroner’s Court.

Mr Isaac was part of the family which ran the Oldrids business and Johnsons’ Garden Centre. He was involved in a number of voluntary and charity roles including the Boston in Bloom.
