Landlords have been given longer to respond to plans that could see them have to pay £490 to register all rented properties in Boston.

The borough council says it wants all private rented properties to be licensed to clamp down on rogue landlords and tackle issues such as anti-social behaviour and overcrowding.

People now have until January 31 to air their views on the scheme. To have your say visit www.boston.gov.uk and fill in the consultation document.
