Owners of empty homes in Boston are being urged to contact the borough council to look at how to get them back into use.

Two social housing providers have teamed up with the council to look to lease empty homes from owners who may not have the time or funds to refurbish them.

The schemes are being delivered with funds from the Homes and Communities Agency, the council and Boston Mayflower or Lincolnshire Rural Housing Association and would see providers lease them out and provide owners a regular rent.

The council is also working with Lincolnshire Credit Union to look at empty home loans of up to £6,000.Owners should contact Anthony Benson at the council on 01205 314516.
