Here’s our latest register of cases before Boston Magistrates’ Court

Failure to comply

Kaspars Ceblis, 33, of no fixed abode. Failed without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Boston Magistrates by twice failing to attend unpaid work, failing to provide an acceptable explanation to cover the absence within seven days and failing to maintain contact with the offender manager. Order to continue with varied to include 110 hours unpaid work (10 hours added for the breach).

Arkadiusz Grabacz, 35, of Jubilee Avenue, Boston. As of January 4, 2014, failed to comply with a noticed served which required him to furnish information in respect of his and others’ interest in the property 30 Station Street. £105 fine, £20 victim surcharge, £492.27.

Kevin Hardstaff, 24, of Lowgate Avenue, Bicker. Failed without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Lincolnshire Magistrates by twice failing to attend unpaid work, failing to provide an acceptable explanation to cover the absence within seven days and failing to maintain contact with the offender manager. Order varied to include 10 hours’ unpaid work added for the breach (160 hours’ total), £75 costs.

Benjamin John David Flatters, 23, of Marketstead Estate, Kirton. At Boston, without reasonable excuse, attended Brothertoft, which he was prohibited from doing by a restraining order imposed by Skegness Magistrates’ Court. £55 fine, £20 victim surcharge.

School attendance

Tammy Vaughan,35, of Powell Street, Boston. Between October 10, 2013 and December 13, 2013, was the parent of a child of compulsory school age, who was registered at Haven High Academy, Boston, who failed to attend regularly at that school. £400 fine, £40 victim surcharge, £100 costs.

Criminal damage

David Beament, 29, of Sinclair Close, Boston. At Boston, without lawful excuse, damaged a phone, intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged. Discharged conditionally for six months, £15 victim surcharge, £85 costs.

Ben Thomas Courtney, 21, of Snaith Avenue, Fosdyke. At Fosdyke, without lawful excuse, damaged two mugs, a wall and a motorvehicle of a value unknown intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged. Detained until the court rose, no order for costs.

Assault

Anthony James, 18, of Taverner Road, Boston. At Boston, twice committed assault by beating and at Boston without lawful excuse destroyed a window and door to the value of £300 belonging to the Axe and Cleaver. Community order made to include participating in a Thinking Skills Programme, a supervision requirement and 60 hours’ unpaid work, £100 compensation, £60 victim surcharge, £150 compensation, £100 compensation.

Motoring

Michael Mackman, 19, of Nidds Lane, Kirton. At Algarkirk, used a motorvehicle on Hall Lane, without insurance, drove without a licence, drove without an MOT, commission of a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence order. £110 fine, £20 victim surcharge, disqualified from driving for six months, no action taken on breach.

Nick Allbones, 50, of Main Road, Sibsey. At Sibsey, being the registered keeper of a mechanically propelled vehicle, failed to deliver to the Secretary of State that part of the registration document containing the required particulars to the notication of transfer of the vehicle to a person who was not a vehicle trader. £200 fine, £20 victim surcharge, £90 costs,.

Jorge Silvestre Oliveira Fernandes, 51, of Hardwick Estate, Kirton. At Boston, used on London Road, a motor vehicle which was unlicensed. £200 fine, £90 costs.

Mathew Joseph Henshall, 25, of Kinross Road, Sleaford. At Boston, kept on Sleaford Road, a motorvehicle which was unlicensed. £400 fine, £87.50 vehicle excise back duty, £90 costs.

Brendan Knight, 32, of Shaw Road, Boston. At Boston, used on Shaw Road, a motorvehicle which was unlicensed. £600 fine, £150 vehicle excise back duty, £90 costs.

Gitana Levickaite, 44, of Argyle Street, Boston. At Boston, kept on Albert Street, a mechanically propelled vehicle which was unlicensed.£5 fine, £56.25 vehicle excise back duty, £90 costs.

Artur Mitrochin, 25, of Redbourne Terrace, Haven Village. At Boston, kept on Sleaford Road, a mechanically propelled vehicle which was unlicensed. £200 fine, £56.25 vehicle excise back duty, £90 costs.

Possession

Paul Jonathan Stokes, 38, of Kyme Road, Boston. At Kyme Road, Boston, had possession of a small amount of diamorphine. £110 fine, £20 victim surcharge, drug to be forfeited and destroyed.

Theft

Sarah Jane Lea, 37, of Trinity Street, Boston. At Boston, stole a bottle of vodka and CDSs to the value of £69 belonging to Asda; commission of a further offence while subject to an order of conditional discharge for 12 months for an offence of theft; at John Adams Way, dishonestly made off with petrol worth £37. Discharged conditionally for two years, order to continue, £37 compensation, £85 costs.

Drunk and disorderly

Harvey Clifton, 18,of Sussex Avenue, Boston. At Boston, on Red Lion Street, was guilty, while drunk, of disorderly behaviour. Discharged conditionally for 12 months, £15 victim surcharge, no order for costs.

Drink driving

Lee James Roberts, 28, of Hardwick Estate, Kirton. At Spilsby, drove on the A16, after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in breath equalled 52 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath (legal limit 35). £300 fine, £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, disqualified from driving for 14 months.

Zbigniew Jarosz, 35, of Tattershall Road, Boston. At Boston, drove on Sleaford Road, after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in breath equalled 98 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath (legal limit 35). Community order made to include 140 hours’ unpaid work, £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, disqualified from driving for 25 months.

Trespass

Michael Edward Berry, 43, of High Street, Lingdale. Between Sibsey and Stickney, during the daytime, trespassed by entering or being upon land at Farm Field, in search or pursuit of game, woodcocks, snipes or conies. £200 fine, £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, binoculars and slip leads to be forfeited under the Hunting Act and destroyed.

Kevin Eaton, 49, of Greenside View, Boosbeck. Being upon land at Farm Field, in search or pursuit of game, woodcocks, snipes or conies. £200 fine, £20 victim sucharge, £85 costs, binoculars and slip leads to be forfeited under the Hunting Act and destroyed.
