Vladimir Safoncik, 35, known as Vovks, was found in the bathroom of House in Multiple Occupency where he lived with four others on Argyle Street, on Sunday, August 9, 2015.

The inquest, held in Spalding, was told a pathologist found evidence of M-Cat, Heroine and alcohol within his system.

In a statement read out at the inquest, pathologist Frances Hollingbury reported Mr Safoncik had about one-and-a-half times the legal driving limit of alcohol in his system.

She concluded that factors in Mr Safoncik’s death had been one, drowning, and two, alcohol methodrone and heroine use.

Mr Safoncik was found by a housemate after he had appeared to spend a long time using the bathroom.

Investigations by officers and the pathologist found no suspicious circumstances surrounding Mr Safoncik’s death.

Three people were arrested originally but were subsequently cleared of any wrongdoing.

Coroner Murray Spittle concluded that Mr Safoncik’s death was both alcohol and drug related.
