Dog rescued from Boston waterway

A DOG had to be rescued from the water in the South Forty Foot Drain on Saturday.

Firefighters were called to the scene at Swineshead Bridge at 12.45pm where a spaniel had been spotted in the drain.

It was rescued using an inflatable air track and the specialist Swift Water Rescue Team from Spalding.
