Charities have received their share of the donations from the Boston Dragon Boat Festival, which took place earlier this year.
Organisers, team members and charity representatives gathered at Listers BMW to collect their prizes and hand out the donations.
Just under £8,000 was given out and the money raised from the event brings the three-year total to just over £20,000.
Awards were also given out to those who won the race and those who raised the most sponsorship individually and as a team along with a free meal at the Hong Kong Restaurant.
Organiser Tony Elmer said: “Obviously, we’re grateful for everyone and there are some special people we’d like to give recognition to.”
Next year’s event was also launched and will take place on August 10 on the River Witham.
Organiser David Witts said he hoped the event continued to grow. He added he was trying to get some massive dragon kites to fly.
