Extra train services on the Boston tracks

Friday, 2pm - THOUSANDS of additional seats are now available on Boston's tracks as East Midlands Trains launches extra Saturday services.

This weekend sees the start of the extra services between Nottingham and Skegness and will run throughout the summer.

The extra eight-carriage trains will provide more than 1,800 additional seats each Saturday and will run at the following times: 8.07 from Nottingham to Skegness, 14.06 from Nottingham to Skegness, 11.28 from Skegness to Nottingham, 17.08 from Skegness to Nottingham.

The additional trains will operate until September 5.

Commercial director for East Midlands Trains David Horne said: "Following on from the success of last year, when we provided additional trains over the summer months, we're now very pleased to be running our high speed trains to Skegness for the very first time."
