A Boston lorry driver will lose both his job and his home after he made the decision to drive home after a night out rather than stay in a caravan that had been arranged for him.

Michael Lovewell, 41, of Lealand Way, admitted driving with excess alcohol when he appeared before magistrates in Skegness last Tuesday.

Nick Todd, prosecuting, said police saw him driving erratically in his Volvo car along the A158 at Skendleby at 2.30am on June 7.
