Taking a ‘legal high’ is believed to have resulted in a man being admitted to Pilgrim Hospital today (Thursday).
A police spokesman said it was thought he had purchased the legal high, reportedly called Sensei, at a shop in Boston.
He then took it in Spalding before requiring hospital treatment, just before midday.
The spokesman said the man has since been released from hospital but officers are keen to trace another man who may have taken the same substance.
The spokesman said: “There have been a number of similar reports recently with people having taken this drug being admitted to hospital.
“There is clearly a risk to the health of individuals taking this substance and we would urge anybody with any information in regard to the use or supply to contact the Police and to refrain from using this substance.”
