Man faces court date for iPhone robbery charge

A Fosdyke man accused of robbing an iPhone from a shop worker has been sent in custody to Lincoln Crown Court.

Ben Courtney, 21, formerly of Snaith Avenue, Fosdyke, and now of no fixed address, appeared in custody at Boston Magistrates’ Court last Thursday (January 30).

He is accused of robbing a person at The Grocers, in Francis Street, Spalding, on January 25.

His solicitor, Phillipa Chatterton, made no application for bail.

Courtney is due to appear at the crown court on February 13.
