Mayflower and CAB announce joint move
Chantry House
Two community organisations will share a new ‘hub’ in Boston - and promise it will lead to people getting a better service.
The Citizens’ Advice Bureau and Boston Mayflower Association will relocate to Chantry House in Lincoln Lane in the spring.
Both organisations said the shared home will be good for customers.
Murray Macdonald, Chief Executive of Boston Mayflower, said: “We are delighted that we will be sharing premises with Boston’s CAB. It will enable both organisations to offer a more efficient and coordinated service, better able to serve our customers.”
The new home will have a reception desk jointly manned by both organisations and there will be 11 shared interview rooms.
Stuart Hellon, Chief Executive Officer of Boston’s CAB, said: “This is a great move for CAB and the community.
“We will have increased interviewing capacity which, with our ongoing partnership working, will allow us the opportunity to provide enhanced services for more people, more of the time.”
Work on Chantry House (pictured) is now underway, with the 15 week period of works expected to provide employment for 15 people.
