Migration campaigner charged with assault

Dean Everitt, the man behind last year’s anti-immigration protest in Boston, has been charged with assault and criminal damage.
Lincolnshire Police revealed this morning that the 43-year-old, of Parthian Avenue, Wyberton, had been charged with the offences in connection with an incident on October 14 last year.
He will appear before Boston Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, January 23.
Mr Everitt told The Standard he will be appearing in court to put his side of the story across.
