Mother hopes for awards success
Monday - AN ENTREPRENEUR from Boston has reached the finals of the Mumpreneur Awards, a ceremony aimed at celebrating women who successfully manage to juggle business with family life.
Mother of two Lyndsey Young runs Open Design and Communication Ltd, which specialises in kitchen products to help households save time, money and unnecessary food waste.
Her first product, Count On It labels, was launched in 2008. This food freshness labelling system helps you track how long the product has been stored.
Lyndsey has been shortlisted for the Best Green Business Award, which will be given to the finalist who has the most eco-friendly business or the business with the most unique way of keeping it green.
She also stands a chance of winning the title of The Inspirational Business Mum 2010.
The winners will be announced in September.
