Motorists charged with drink-driving as part of police crackdown

Police have revealed details of people charged with drink-driving in Boston as they carry out their annual Christmas crackdown on motorists getting behind the wheel after consuming alcohol.

*Christopher Charles Parker, 28, of Chapel Lane, Mareham Le Fen, was arrested in Pump Square in Boston at about 4am on Sunday. He has been charged with driving with excess alcohol (93 microgrammes) and has been bailed to appear before Boston Magistrates on 9 December.

*Edward Swiatek, 49, of Ralphs Lane, Frampton, was arrested on suspicion of drink-driing in West End Road, Wyberton at about 8.30pm on Saturday night. He was charged with driving with excess alcohol (106 microgrammes) and has been bailed to appear before Boston Magistrates on January 2.

*Dalius Stakele, 36, of no specified abode, was arrested in Boston on Friday night. He was charged with driving with excess alcohol (79 microgrammes), driving whilst disqualified and driving without appropriate insurance. He appeared before Lincoln Magistrates on Saturday. The result of the case is not yet known.

The legal limit in breath for driving is 35 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
