Boston MP Mark Simmonds has been unanimously reselected by the party to defend his seat at the 2015 General Election.
The decision was taken by the Boston and Skegness Conservative Association.
Ruth Street, chairman of the Association, said: “Mark has been the MP for Boston and Skegness for 12 years and has done an exceptional job representing his constituents in Parliament. He is hardworking, energetic and dedicated to our part of Lincolnshire.
“We were delighted to reselect him as the Conservative candidate for the General Election in 2015.”
In 2010 Mr Simmonds won 21,325 votes, which gave him a majority of 12,426.
The seat is thought to be a high up target for UKIP in 2015.
