A charity helping those in need to get recycled furniture at cheap prices is to open in Boston.
Called Renew, the charity will open its warehouse in Norfolk Street on July 1 - and is appealing for furniture donation and volunteers.
Mark Egan, CEO of Living Well, the charity which runs the Renew scheme, said: “We know there’s a real need for it in Boston - especially after the floods. We will be able to offer a pick-up service so we would ask for anyone who has any quality furniture they no longer want to get in touch.”
Renew is a non-profit making project - with any proceeds made being put back into the community.
The charity, based in Louth, has recently been boosted by a £10,000 donation from the Len Medlock Trust - which has helped it to set up a branch in Boston.
The group is also looking to recruit a paid-for supervisor role at the Boston branch. For details, to donate or volunteer, call 01507 602903.
