Now she has been included in the NMT Nursery Top 10 Most Influential 2016, organised by the Nursery Management Today magazine.

Samantha said: “It’s lovely to receive this kind of recognition but I really couldn’t have done it without the support of my brilliant staff and the parents of the children we look after.”

She was nominated by Kristina Johnson, senior nursery manager at Mon Ami.

She said: “Samantha is completely driven by her wish to provide high-quality childcare for families regardless of their circumstances.

“Her passion for creating the right environment for children can be seen across the company – if the environment is right then the children are going to be happy, confident, settled and willing to learn.

“Her core values really come through in the nurseries: she believes that all children should be given every opportunity to reach their potential. That starts with her own four children and is carried through to the children in our care at Mon Ami.”

“Samantha’s inspiration is a way of life. She is not an owner who sits back and lets others do the work – she is fully committed and will do whatever it takes to provide the right care for children.”

Samantha will attend the awards ceremony at Barclays HQ in Canary Wharf, London.

NMT Top 20 includes the Top 10 Most Influential People, the Top 5 Most Inspirational People and the Top 5 businesses from the Nursery Business Index.
