The Lincolnshire Ladies’ Tractor Run set off from Bells Brothers Nursery, in Benington, and made their way via Sibsey to the Danny Flear Centre, in Freiston, before taking a break and heading back to the nursery outlet.

The day also provided bacon butties, homemade cakes, tea and coffee, as well as a raffle with more than 40 prizes to win.

This is the seventh year the event has run and organisers say it has ‘gone from strength to strength’.

In the previous six years the run has raised more than £25,000 for Cancer Research UK.

Tractors taking part ranged from vintage to brand new and all makes and models decorated in pink take to the roads around Boston.

The drivers often get dressed in their finest pink wear as well.
