Police have issued an appeal to try to trace the people responsible for racist graffiti in Swineshead.

Officers say words and drawings of a racist nature have been discovered in the passageway alongside the Pig and Whistle pub and near the chip shop.

It is understood that the graffiti includes swastikas and offensive language about Muslims.

Arrangements are being made for the graffiti to be removed.

Anyone with information about who is responsible is asked to contact Lincolnshire Police by calling 101 and quoting incident number 142 of July 11.
