Rosebery Avenue Community Playgroup held a special purple-themed day to raise money for Epilepsy Action.

Rachel Owens, deputy manager of the group, said: “We have a little girl called Charley-Brooke Hirst who attends our setting and suffers from Epilepsy.

“All her playgroup friends and the staff dressed in purple for the day and we did lots of purple activities including face painting, making purple biscuits and singing nursery rhymes and replacing words with purple.”

They managed to raise £100 for the charity.
