Porter, aged 35, is believed to have links to the Boston area of Lincolnshire and is wanted for Conspiracy to Commit Robbery following a raid at a high-end jewellers in Nottinghamshire.

Nine men and a woman have been charged with a variety of offences in connection with the robbery at Andrew Michael Jewellers in Newark on 9 January 2016.

It is alleged that Matthew Porter assisted in carrying out reconnaissance on the targeted premises in the days and weeks prior to the robbery, provided safe houses for the robbers in the days and weeks both prior and after the attack and also assisted in the movement of stolen vehicles for use in the robbery.

The charity Crimestoppers is now offering the reward of up to £2,000 for information that leads to Porter’s arrest.

Sharon Moseley, East Midlands Regional Manager for Crimestoppers, said: “Someone must know where Matthew Porter is hiding. This man has assisted violent criminals which is why it is critical that he is caught.
