Sightings of helicopter activity and smoke expected over airfield
Aircraft activitiy from RAF Coningsby is expected across the area today.
A spokesman for RAF Coningsby told The Standard: “Just in case you get any calls from concerned members of the public – RAF Coningsby will be carrying out an exercise this morning.
“There may be some smoke over the airfield. There may also be some helicopter activity, for example, the Air Ambulance may fly in.”
