A teacher has admitted being drunk and disorderly in Boston’s Horncastle Road.

Jonathan Hyde, of Trent Valley Road, Stoke, was found by police waving his belt in the air and trying to get into cars in the area, Boston Magistrates’ Court was told

The 42-year-old, who told the court he was a full-time teacher, was not represented by a solicitor when he appeared before the bench.

He told magistrates: “I am very embarrassed and sorry about the inonvenience it has caused anyone and I hope it won’t happen again.”

Passing sentence on Wednesday, November 21, district judge John Stobart said he could understand how tempting it was to come to ‘the seaside’ and have drink too much, but said it was no acceptable.

He was given a £115 fine, £20 surcharge and £85 costs.
