Tesco closes to deal with burst water pipe
STAFF at Boston’s Tesco supermarket had to temporarily close the store last Saturday while they dealt with water pouring through the ceiling.
The store, in New Hammond Beck Road, was shut from around 3.30pm-4pm while staff dealt with the water which was pouring in near the entrance doors.
The incident is believed to have been caused by a faulty pipe connected to an air conditioning unit.
A spokesman for Tesco apologised to customers for any inconvenience caused.
