Three injured in crash

Monday - A CRASH in Friskney has left an 80-year-old man in intensive care and two others with serious injuries.

Emergency services were called to the A52 Main Road, Friskney, at about 3.40pm yesterday (Sunday) when a green Ford Focus and a grey Suzuki were in collision.

The man driving the Focus and his wife, both 80-years-old and local to Boston, were taken to Pilgrim Hospital with serious injuries and detained.

The man is in intensive care.

The driver of the Suzuki was also taken to Pilgrim Hospital with serious injuries.

The road was closed until about 8.20pm while the vehicles were cleared and investigations carried out.
