Two cut from cars after A16 collisions

TWO people had to be cut from their cars at Sibsey on Saturday.

A fire and rescue spokesman said emergency services were called to an accident at the juntion with Station Road, on the A16 at 10.22pm.

The vehicles involved were a Jaguar X-type and a Citroen Saxo.

The driver of the Jaguar was a 47-year-old man from Sutterton, there was also a 42-year-old female passenger.

The driver of the Citroen was a 39-year-old man from Sibsey.

Both casualties were released using hydraulic cutting equipment and were taken to Pilgrim Hospital.
