Nigel Farage, leader of the United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP), will be visiting Boston at the beginning of next month.

The politician is due to arrive in the town on an open-topped bus during the afternoon of Tuesday, April 9, and will talk to members of the public before heading to a public meeting in the evening.

His arrival in the town will follow a bus tour around Lincolnshire.

Chris Pain, who stood as UKIP candidate in the Boston and Skegness constituency in the last election, said: “One of the issues we will be talking on is the effect of immigration in Boston.”

Free tickets for the open meeting, which is planned to take place at Wyberton Sports and Social Club, are available by calling Chris on 07876 505055 or Don Ransome on 07971 700685.
