The Boston man who was arrested following a suspected Samurai sword attack which left two people in hospital has now been charged.
Forty-one year-old Christopher Leslie Smith, of Franklin Close, has been charged with two counts of wounding with intent, two of inflicting GBH and an additional charge of assault. He is scheduled to appear before Boston Magistrates today.
A 34-year-old man and 22-year-old woman were taken to Pilgrim Hospital yesterday suffering from lacerations following an incident at a flat in Puritan Way, Boston.
Lincolnshire Police said their injuries are believed to have been inflicted by ‘a Samurai sword-type implement’.
