UPDATE: Burst main leaves properties in Boston without water

News.

News.

A burst main has left properties in Boston with either no water supply or low pressure tonight.

Anglian Water said: “We’ve got a burst main in your area that we’re working hard to get fixed. We’ll get your supply back to normal as soon as possible.”

The utility firm expects to have fixed the problems by 10.30am tomorrow.

It added: “When the water is back it may look a little cloudy or discoloured, just run your tap for a couple of minutes and it should clear - if it doesn’t give us a call so that we can check it out - 08457 145 145.”

10pm: People across Boston are suffering from either no water or low pressure from their taps this evening.

Anglian Water said: “We’re really sorry but some of you in Boston may have very low water pressure or no water at all.

“We’re working hard to determine the cause and we’ll get your supply back to normal as soon as possible.”

It added: “Again, we’re really sorry we’ve inconvenienced you and thanks for your patience.”

It is not known how widespread the problem is in the town although it may be the reason that the Moon Under Water Wetherspoon pub is closed this evening.
