UPDATE: Cyclist, 10, taken to hospital as a precaution after collision with car in Boston

Friday, 10.30am: A ten-year-old cyclist was taken to Pilgrim Hospital as a precaution after being involved in a collision with a car in Boston yesterday (March 13).

The crash had left Woodthorpe Avenue blocked, leading to tailbacks.

Lincolnshire Police’s Road Policing Unit has now reported via its Twitter account the road is clear, with the incident being ‘thankfully not too serious’.

Thursday, 5.10pm: Motorists are currently facing disruption in Boston following a crash in the town.

The collision has left Woodthorpe Avenue blocked, Lincolnshire Police have reported.

Tailbacks have begun to form, the county’s Road Policing Unit have warned via its Twitter account.
