Police have confirmed that a female passenger died in a two-vehicle collsion on the A52 this morning.
One vehicle was left in a ditch and another on its roof after a crash between Wrangle and Holland Lane End at about 10.22am this morning.
The female passenger from one of the vehicles died at the scene and the driver of the vehicle she was in, a 72-year-old man from Tattershall, is currently receiving treatment in hospital.
A couple in their 60s who were in the other vehicle, both from Leicestershire, are also in hospital.
None of their injuries are thought to be serious.
The road will still be closed for some time.

11.30am: The A52 is currently closed at Wrangle following a serious collision this morning.

Traffic is being stopped at Old Leake.
HGVs are being diverted along the B1184 Old leake and B1195 Wainfleet at the A16 for the time being.
The conditions of the occupants of the cars is not yet known.
A police spokesman said: “This is a very serious collision and the road has been closed to allow the air ambulance and emergency services to deal with the incident.”
