UPDATE: Two witnesses sought after fatal collision in Fishtoft

Lincolnshire Police have revealed they are looking for two witnesses to a collision in Fishtoft last night (Thursday) which saw a 51-year-old man die.

Two vehicles are believed to have been travelling behind the Renault Clio at the time of the incident on Priory Road at 6pm, and did not stop.

PC Sarah Capes would like to speak to the drivers of those two vehicles because they may have important information relating to the events that occured.

FRIDAY, 9.18am - A 51-year-old man has died following a collision in Fishtoft last night (Thursday).

Lincolnshire Police said that emergency services were called to Priory Road at 6pm, following the incident between the man and a Renault Clio.

The man, reported to be local, died in hospital shortly afterwards.

Police are investigating the incident but have currently taken no action against the driver of the Clio and report no injuries on them ‘apart from shock’.

The road reopened at 11.30pm.
