Video: Emmerdale stars switch on Christmas lights in Boston
Hundreds turned out in Boston this evening to watch Emmerdale stars turn on the town’s festive lights.
Fiona Wade and Bhasker Patel, who play father and daughter Rishi and Priya Sharma in the Yorkshire soap, said they were ‘excited’ to switch on the lights.
Prior to the big switch-on there was a parade through the Market Place featuring the Mayor Coun Colin Brotherton, Fireman Sam, reindeers, the cast of the Blackfriars panto, and many more.
The fun continued with the all-day market and fun fair.
