The case for Boston to get more Government funding to cope with the impact of immigration has been made today.
Boston and Skegness MP Mark Simmonds invited Brandon Lewis, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Department for Communities and Local Government, to visit, meet councillors and discuss challenges facing the town.
Mr Simmonds said the aim of the meeting was to ‘try to increase the overall funding’ for Boston.
He said: “Our local services are under immense pressure because of the large increase in our population, causing much frustration to local residents, and this should be reflected in Boston’s financial allocation.”
