A woman had to be thrown out of a meeting about concerns over travellers sites at Stickford and East Keal yesterday after disturbing the proceedings.
The woman, named as Rachel during the meeting, interrupted other people attending and panel members on numerous occasions, riling people on both sides.
She was told to wait her turn by chairman Coun Victoria Ayling, who said other people had been waiting patiently and asked her to do the same.
However, she failed to comply and was eventually asked to leave by panel members and audience members, who began to chant ‘out, out, out’.
Police were also called to attend the meeting, however, a spokesman said a constable had arrived after the woman had left and gone home.
