Walk in memory of soldier killed in action coming to Boston

A 150-mile walk organised by the mother of a soldier killed in action in Afghanistan is set to pass through Boston next week.

All the 4s was organised by Lincolnshire mother Christine Bonner, who lost her son Darren in a land mine explosion in 2007.

She and a team of supporters are aiming to walk from Scunthorpe to Southend over 10 days to raise money for the The Royal Anglian Regiment Benevolent Charity, which supports serving or former members of the regiment and their families who are in need.

The walk will arrive in Boston town centre at 4pm on Monday, August 15. Mayor Coun Mary Wright will meet the walk at the Memorial Gardens. Collection buckets will be in the area.
