Louth man (31) faces trial over alleged child abuse

Richard Hunt, 31, is alleged to have sexually assaulted a girl aged under 13 in February this year.

Hunt, of Virginia Drive, Louth, spoke to confirm his name, date of birth, and nationality as British.

No plea was entered to the allegation and Judge John Pini QC adjourned the case for trial at Lincoln Crown Court on November 7.

His trial is expected to last two days.

There was no bail application, and Hunt was remanded in to custody until his next court appearance.
