MABEL Joan Smith, of Hospital Lane, Boston, has died at Pilgrim Hospital following a short illness.
She was 91.
Born in Tattershall, she spent the majority of her life in Boston.
A widow, she is survived by niece Sheila and great-nephews Keith and Ian.
During her working life she was a housewife.
Mrs Smith was devoted to her home and garden and also spent time caring for relatives.
She supported her husband in his role with music and choirs of local churches and took a keen interest in the charitable support of children and animals.
Her funeral took place at Boston Crematorium and was followed by cremation. The service was officiated by Father Paul Noble.
Chief family mourners were: Dennis and Sheila Robinson (niece and partner), Keith and Bev Robinson and Ian and Vicky Robinson (great-nephews and wives), Marie Taylor (cousin) and other family friends.
