Man accused of inciting a girl to engage in sexual activity appears at crown court

A man accused of a sex offence against a 13-year-old girl appeared before Lincoln Crown Court today (Wednesday).

Jason Broome, 42, of Sunningdale Drive, Boston, is accused of inciting a girl to engage in sexual activity on April 24, 2010.

No plea was taken at today’s hearing and the case was adjourned until May.

Broome, who works for Brylaine Coaches, was granted bail on condition that any bus he drives must have a CCTV system that is working and recording.

Judge John Pini QC also ordered that Broome is to have no unsupervised access with any person under the age of 16.

Previously Brylaine Coaches has confirmed Broome had been ‘redeployed’ within the company is no longer driving buses.
