A MAN has died and a woman is in hospital after a crash in Benington yesterday (Sunday).
Emergency services were called to the site on the A52 after three vehicles collided.
They were a blue Honda Accord, a black Hyundai 4x4 and a silver Vauxhall Zafira.
The driver of the Honda, a 54-year-old Boston man, was taken to Pilgrim Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
A female passenger in the Zafira, understood to be from the Loughborough area, was also taken to Pilgrim Hospital but it is not thought her injuries are life threatening.
A 44-year-old male driver from that vehicle was unhurt.
The driver of the Hyundai was a 49-year-old man from the Sheffield area and was also unhurt.
The road was re-opened about 5.40pm, Sunday.
This fatality brings to 32 the number killed on Lincolnshire's roads this year compared to 29 at the same point in 2010.
