Man injured in A152 collision

A pedestrian has been injured following a collision in Gosberton last night (Tuesday).

A police spokesman said the man, whose age has not yet been confirmed, is from Peterborough and was believed to have been in the carriageway of the A152, at Gosberton, when he was struck by a Nissan Micra shortly after 11pm.

He was taken to Pilgrim Hospital, in Boston, but was later transferred to the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham, where he is in a very serious condition.
