They were presented to the charities by the master of the Lodge of Harmony Mick Holmes and the steward Fred Clarke.

The Em’s fund for Brain Tumour was set up following the death of local teacher Emma Brannigan who died, aged 21, on October 19 following a battle with a tumour.

The M.S. Society offers support and information for anyone affected by Multiple Sclerosis.

The money came from the Non Provincial Benevolent Fund which allocates about £60,000 per year to good causes and non-masonic charities in Lincolnshire.
