Miss Gertrude Fanny Richardson (Fan)


GERTRUDE Fanny Richardson (Fan), of Woodlands Court Care Home in Kirton, has died suddenly but peacefully at home.

She was 96.

Born in Wellingore, she spent most of her life living in Wigtoft and Kirton.

She leaves behind sister Gwen Gell.

Miss Richardson spent many years working in agriculture and pre-packing fruit.

She enjoyed dancing in her younger days, and liked a game of bingo in her later years. She also enjoyed visiting family in Scarborough.

Her funeral took place at Boston Crematorium and was followed by cremation. The Rev Ken Still officiated.

Richardson, Mr D. Richardson (nieces and nephews), Mr J. Greensmith, Miss T. Greensmith, Mr N. Richardson, Mr M. Atkin, Miss A. Atkin, Mr M. Hargreaves and Amy (great-nephews and nieces), Mr L. West, Mr H. West (great-great-nephews).

Unable to attend: Mr T. Richardson (nephew).
